International Operations Program Manager - Mobile - APAC - Google - Tokyo

Job description
The Android team at Google is looking for a talented operations professional who can lead new product readiness efforts for operations in APAC. The Play Store is our online store for all Google products and we are expanding rapidly into new markets. As an International Operations Manager for APAC, you will lead complex, multidisciplinary projects. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

Responsibilities
Review and improve departmental processes and procedures to drive efficiency and best practices for international operations; Drive new international operational programs from inception to completion.
Act as functional bridge between Operations & other teams (Product, Eng, Finance, Legal, HR, Mktg etc.).
Perform advanced analysis of operational activities, including defining, measuring and communicating core operational metrics.
Strategize with Google partners across logistics, import / export, customer services, stock management, new product ranging.
Cooperate with multiple Google departments in all APAC regions covering pricing, launch planning and execution, market intelligence and competitor profiling.

Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in an operations focused role.
Experience managing hardware operations across APAC
Track record in developing and executing business strategy related to operational services

Preferred Qualifications

Background in mobile hardware operations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
