Overview:The Marketing Director is responsible for driving demand and building the brand through the development of a marketing
strategy and tactics to help meet the revenue targets.


Responsibilities:

Increase revenue through branding and demand generation.
• Increase new customers, sales transactions, renewals, upsell, and cross sales.
• Participate in the development of the business plan.
• Development of a matching marketing plan, ROI objectives, tactics, budget and schedule by segments:
o Prospect marketing (database management, campaigns, lead generation & tracking, etc.)
o Customer marketing (renewals, cross-sell and upsell tracking, case studies, etc.)
o Channels marketing (strategic and tactical support, campaign involvement, lead tracking, MDF, etc.)
o Influencer marketing (Media, analysts, industry associations, government bodies, thought leadership, etc.)
o Internal marketing (Spokespeople management, employee communication, etc.)
• Develop segment based messaging and content.
• Develop off/online content-based demand generation campaigns.
• Manage the campaigns schedule (frequency and recency.)
• Track metrics & adapt (closed-loop marketing)
• Efficient and effective budget management.
• Full integration with the local sales and channel team.
• Executing corporate and regional marketing strategy and uphold global marketing metrics.
• Leverage Global Marketing Ops, Product Marketing, Sales Ops, etc.
• Contributes to the development of market intelligence (market sizing, competitive analysis, etc.)

Qualifications:

• A skilled marketing professional with 12+ years relevant experience. Bachelor's Degree required, MBA ideal.
• Experience in Enterprise B2B software or services marketing.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills (works well with others.)
• Self-motivated, disciplined, pro-active, independent and likes to work in cross-cultural teams.
• Strong understanding of marketing planning, branding and demand generation (including PR, channel marketing,
customer marketing, product marketing, internal marketing, etc.)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to understand business and technology messaging.
• Impeccable campaign management, budget and scheduling expertise.
• Wide understanding and experience in various marketing tools (with some in-depth knowledge.)
• Strong marketing vendor negotiation and management skills.
• Fluent in Japanese and English
