Global Account Leader - Connected Driving - HERE - Nokia - Yokohama


Job description
The Global Account Leader – Connected Driving needs to be an exceptional leader of a geographically diverse team that defines and exceeds revenue targets, customizes and leads the strategic goals for HERE at their assigned global Automotive OEM, positions HERE as an indispensable resource at their assigned OEM, and can effectively coordinate internal and external resources to achieve success. The Leader must be able to develop strong and influential relationships with critical Senior OEM leaders, as well as drive and facilitate broad and deep team relationships and clarity of purpose across the working level at the OEM.

Responsibilities:
Acts as the General Manager of the Global OEM, coordinates all account activities and is accountable for definition and execution of short and long term strategic growth objectives
Is a trusted advisor at senior levels within the OEM on all matters concerning Location Intelligence
Responsible for exceeding revenue goals, optimizing ASP, and integration/implementation of new growth technologies and strategies, both internal and from external partners at the OEM
Responsible for gathering and synthesizing OEM product, service, marketing and solution requirements to compete effectively with local & global map/solution players
Closely interface with Global Account directors, Sales leadership teams and Connected Driving product team to provide credible, and sustainable solutions to their respective OEM
Work closely with global CMD to ensure that best practices of HERE are shared and implemented globally, both internally and at the OEM
Team with Marketing to build brand awareness ACROSS the OEM, globally and in key markets, develop a comprehensive communications plan for HERE within the OEM, maximize joint PR publicity for HERE, and lead and organize major events for senior leaders at the OEM
Work with the Global Account Directors, and the Sales leadership team to lead the development of global, regional and country sales & marketing strategies at the OEM to exceed revenue targets

Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Engineering and an MBA degree (preferred)
Minimum 7-12 years of experience in a fast moving Sales & Marketing, IT environment
Experience dealing with global automotive customers and managing interactions within an international environment.
Demonstrable record of outstanding achievement in marketing and sales management.

Personal Skills:
Good mixture between a strategic marketer (40%) and a tactician (60%) with diplomatic skills and strong leadership presence with the ability to interface effectively and build influential relationships with key senior level decision makers at the customer.
Demonstrated ability to set realistic, aggressive targets and consistently deliver on promises – internally and externally – superior follow- up skills
Capable of mastering and reacting to the Global pace of the business – quick thinker and implementer with a high sense of urgency.
Exceptional organization skills, with the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and projects to on-time delivery; also to manage and coordinate inputs from multiple sources.
Ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed organization.
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills. .
Good motivator and coach, a team player with strong leadership personality and ability to persuade and inspire colleagues and customers.
Mature individual with excellent communication skills (especially listening skills, strategic presentation skills and excellent business writing skills).
Excellent negotiator with an eye on achieving the maximum value – an understanding of the complexities of the automotive sales channel is a plus.
Creativity and sound judgment in decision making. Should have adaptive skills, a flexible mindset as well as a “customer obsessed” mentality.
Must be able to be travel frequently (50%+) and on short notice.
Technically savvy, can quickly develop strong product knowledge.
