The SMB team contributes directly to this mission by connecting every small business in the world with their customers on Facebook and then helping them grow through solutions like Pages and advertising. This role will be responsible for all SMB efforts in Japan including overall sales, marketing, operations, and partnerships. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in managing teams, marketing to small businesses, developing partner channels, and using data to solve problems. Success in this position requires a passion for working with partners,strong analytical skills, a focus on client service, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment. This role will report to the Head of SMB in APAC. This position is full-time and located in our Tokyo office.

Responsibilities
Play a critical role in building, training and managing a talented account management and marketing team
Build and manage 3rd party ecosystem to drive advertiser and revenue growth (call centers, resellers, agencies)
Develop scalable operations solutions and revenue programs to support Facebook’s continued advertiser growth
Represent Facebook at industry and external press events
Work seamlessly between sales channels, business and product functions
Execute projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research and strategy development

Requirements

Passion for Facebook and SMBs
8+ years of sales/marketing/business development experience and 5+ years of management experience, online or advertising sales experience is a plus
Knowledge of 3rd party channels including call centers, resellers and agencies is a plus
Strong analytical and strategic planning background
Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally
Candidates must be fluent in English and Japanese
Demonstrated excellence in entrepreneurial conditions
BA/BS degree with outstanding academic performance, MBA or technical degree a plus
