Director Cross-Industry Solutions Sales Intel Tokyo

Job Description
The role will be executed with major enterprise Academic, Government, Corporate end users (in close collaboration with in-country BDMs) and through consultancy-integration scaling partners. Success will be measured in the value created (and quantitatively measured) for Intel, its partners, and end users, in the (quantitatively measured) industry adoption of Intel-driven transformative architectures and solutions, and in the strategic trust and mindshare that Intel will win through its industry leadership and delivery of value.



Central to success will be a practitioner’s knowledge of cross-industry enterprise solutions, operational practices and metrics, which with customers and partners will translate into an ability to recognize genuine and scalable value-creation opportunities.

Success will also be enabled by knowledge of cross-industry and Intel architectural best practices; knowledge of the normative software and infrastructure stack per industry segment-solutions; and enterprise expertise as to value-creating use cases and capabilities in such functional realms as,

• High-Performance Computing Infrastructures – spanning across industries like Academia, Energy, Manufacturing, Financial Services, Life-sciences and others.

• Manageable, Secure, Next-Generation UX business client (fixed and mobile) computing infrastructures – crossing multiple enterprise industries.

This role will require strategic insight and planning, to formulate programmatic scale initiatives with industry partners. The role will need to package technology implementation best-known methods, and with partners translate findings of technology adoption in one industry, and drive into other industries.

You will work closely with geography-specific sales leaders, business development managers, and business unit representatives to develop Intel’s relevance and delivery power across key industry segments. You will also work closely with global cross-industry sales leadership, both to drive initiatives across the geography and to advise the global office of geography-specific opportunities and needs.

Direct experience in Enterprise Corporate, Government and Academic industries-customers as a practitioner or industry-specific consultant is required. Frequent cross-region travel can be expected.

Over 15+ years of direct experience across enterprise industry, either as a technology implementation practitioner or as a consultant-advisor

Experience in high performance computing, cloud-software defined infrastructures, managed/secure enterprise client solutions with asia-pacific japan, Fortune 500, Industry leading enterprises is preferred.

Understands how to engage with Geo and headquarter resources to execute, and secure decisions within Sales and Marketing Groups, direct stakeholders and customers.

Excellent executive conversation skills. Is able to speak and sell at CIO/CTO and Press, analyst levels - on technical, commercial, strategy and business model matters.

Has a successful track record for sales growth, and enjoys managing a cross-geo business development resources/team, in earning voice and respect between WW and Geo management/stakeholders.

Strong operational skills - able to set processes to set and track goals and escalate issues with high velocity and clarity.

Proven ability and experience in building effective sales skill-development plans for direct and matrix sales resources.

Strong strategic skills - able to link together disparate trends and find the 'insight in the data/thrash' for both Intel's Sales and Marketing Group.
Be flexible and open to unrestrained travel, through the APJ region.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education.
