Developer Instructor - Salesforce - Tokyo


Job description
Developer Instructor and Curriculum localization reviewer Responsibilities
Deliver effective, well-managed and well-facilitated training in public, private and internal classes including high profile private workshops
Participate in community conversations to optimise training materials, increase instructor technical knowledge and raise issues for discussion/resolution
Localize training materials of instructor-led, online and certification and adjust for Japanese customers.
Design and develop training materials of instructor-led, online and certification to meet Japanese customers’ needs and business requirements.
Answer questions posed/posted by partners instructors and documents answers for future use
Mentor candidate instructors during their authorisation process to develop their knowledge/skills
Proactively promote the Training & Certification catalogue of offerings such as learning paths, certification and additional training courses with customers, both in and out of the classroom
Pass leads to the Training Account Executives to contribute the team revenue targets
Participate in and contribute to key initiatives in the local team/department to improve processes, customer satisfaction and/or increase margin/revenue

Experience/Skills
Proficient in Object Oriented Programming, such as Java, C# or C++
Desirable skills: web development skills such as PHP, ASP, or JSP.
Integration experience such as SOAP, REST or JCA a plus
Capable of delivering effective, interactive technical training to large audiences (12+ students)
Proactive commitment to customer satisfaction and personal excellence
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding delivery, presentation, facilitation and classroom management skills
CRM application experience preferred but not required
Ability to alter delivery style ‘on the fly’ as student requirements dictate
Exhibit enthusiasm, positive professional attitude, integrity and reliability and acts as role model to other instructors
Able to work effectively in unstable situations and/or in unforeseen circumstances to bring about positive results
Can successfully work autonomously
Complete tasks in a quality manner within a specified timeframe
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. English required (Business communication level, TOEIC 800 + )

Senior Tax Manager - APJ - Salesforce - Tokyo


Job description
Position: Senior Tax Manager, APJ

This position will be responsible for corporate direct and indirect tax planning, compliance (including income tax accounting) and tax audits for subsidiaries in Asia Pacific and Japan. This role will manage one person and will report to the Leader of International Tax based in San Francisco.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitoring of tax compliance and audits as well as supervision of outside tax advisors.
Review of U.S. GAAP income tax provisions.
Build strong business relationship, providing support and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure that all regulations are being met by all subsidiaries in Asia Pacific and Japan.
Assist in resolving and monitoring tax issues including withholding taxes and permanent establishment.
Responsible for transfer pricing, indirect taxes (e.g., VAT, GST), statutory tax requirements and intercompany charges in the region.
Regularly review tax compliance to assess risks and opportunities in our region.
Monitor tax legislative developments for implications to the organization.
Responsible for tax issues related to M&A and post-acquisition integrations.
Monitor international areas to identify and mitigate potential tax exposures.
Develop, document and educate company personnel on international tax policies and procedures.
International travel as required (0-5%).

Skills & Experience:
Degree in Accounting/Taxation/Tax Law.
Minimum 10 years of Tax experience within Big 4 accounting firm and/or multi-national corporation.
Experience with US GAAP including tax provision.
Strong technical skills and excellent communication skills.
Detail oriented, analytical and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
An independent and self-driven individual with strong sense of ownership.
Excellent time management, interpersonal, communications, decision making, customer oriented and organization skills.
Able to read and speak both English and Japanese.
Excellent Excel skills.

Job description
The Ignite Program director is responsible for execution of the Ignite Innovation Engagement with Salesforce.com customers.
This individual is responsible for helping prospects and customers in a structured ideation process to unlock value and find creative solutions to existing business challenges through the use of Ignite.
This individual possesses superior communication skills, ability to work in a dynamic environment and have a broad range of technical, business and interpersonal skills that scale from line managers to C-Level Executives.

Responsibilities
l Manage internal and external constituents through a structured consulting engagement
l Drive issues to closure and gain agreement on next steps towards closure of a process.
l Communicate engagement status among multiple constituents.
l Participate in multiple engagements while maintaining focus on results.
l Help drive customers towards strategic thinking that drive business results
l Strong discovery and probing skills to learn business pain, identify opportunities and build credibility with customers
l Create assets and artifacts that provide a representation of the Solution for discussion (business impact, process impact, technical fit)
l Understand the Salesforce product suite and be able to ideate the optimal client solution based on what Salesforce (and Salesforce partners) can deliver
l Manage a virtual team (internal and external) to deliver a compelling vision of our solution (ie, Demo, Storyboards, Process Flows, etc)
l Develop workshop plans and content to meet specified need and objectives

Job description
Salesforce.com is seeking a bright, creative and sales-focused marketing professional to drive our Commercial marketing strategy and program implementation. This person will be responsible for integrated demand generation campaigns and will orchestrate a virtual team to deliver pipeline growth and aggressive business growth results for this key market segment. This is a unique individual contributor position which is both a strategic leadership role and a hands-on execution focused role in the day-to-day strategy, planning, management, coordination and execution of all aspects of the initiatives and campaigns for Commercial segment.

Ideal candidates must have at least 6+ years of experience in either demand generation or field marketing in B2B tech enterprise marketing. Candidates must have experience working across various channels, as well as a strong background working closely with sales leaders and cross functional teams.

Responsibilities:
·Develop marketing campaign strategy and plans for creating market momentum and driving demand for Commercial market segment.
·Lead, plan and implement integrated campaigns and demand generation programs to drive pipeline growth, by partnering with internal stakeholders including sales organization, Japan Marketing team and HQ campaign team.
·Central liaison with Commercial sales leaders to communicate campaign overviews, status, metrics.
·Constantly analyze and improve the quality of campaigns, acting on weak areas, optimizing strengths, measuring and controlling ROI based on actual costs and performance results.

Required Skills:
·6+ years experience in demand generation or field marketing with B2B tech enterprise marketing experience
·Dynamic and results-oriented individual with a leadership mentality and an ability to lead a cross functional team
·Outstanding organizational, communication (verbal/presentation/written), and interpersonal skills
·Highly self-motivated/ability to work independently and as part of a team
