Global Account Leader - Connected Driving - HERE - Nokia - Yokohama


Job description
The Global Account Leader – Connected Driving needs to be an exceptional leader of a geographically diverse team that defines and exceeds revenue targets, customizes and leads the strategic goals for HERE at their assigned global Automotive OEM, positions HERE as an indispensable resource at their assigned OEM, and can effectively coordinate internal and external resources to achieve success. The Leader must be able to develop strong and influential relationships with critical Senior OEM leaders, as well as drive and facilitate broad and deep team relationships and clarity of purpose across the working level at the OEM.

Responsibilities:
Acts as the General Manager of the Global OEM, coordinates all account activities and is accountable for definition and execution of short and long term strategic growth objectives
Is a trusted advisor at senior levels within the OEM on all matters concerning Location Intelligence
Responsible for exceeding revenue goals, optimizing ASP, and integration/implementation of new growth technologies and strategies, both internal and from external partners at the OEM
Responsible for gathering and synthesizing OEM product, service, marketing and solution requirements to compete effectively with local & global map/solution players
Closely interface with Global Account directors, Sales leadership teams and Connected Driving product team to provide credible, and sustainable solutions to their respective OEM
Work closely with global CMD to ensure that best practices of HERE are shared and implemented globally, both internally and at the OEM
Team with Marketing to build brand awareness ACROSS the OEM, globally and in key markets, develop a comprehensive communications plan for HERE within the OEM, maximize joint PR publicity for HERE, and lead and organize major events for senior leaders at the OEM
Work with the Global Account Directors, and the Sales leadership team to lead the development of global, regional and country sales & marketing strategies at the OEM to exceed revenue targets

Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Engineering and an MBA degree (preferred)
Minimum 7-12 years of experience in a fast moving Sales & Marketing, IT environment
Experience dealing with global automotive customers and managing interactions within an international environment.
Demonstrable record of outstanding achievement in marketing and sales management.

Personal Skills:
Good mixture between a strategic marketer (40%) and a tactician (60%) with diplomatic skills and strong leadership presence with the ability to interface effectively and build influential relationships with key senior level decision makers at the customer.

Systems Engineer - Automotive OEM - Garmin International - Yokohama


Job description

Provide local/in-country engineering support to amicably assure the successful definition, development, operation, and system integration of Garmin products in OEM applications that meet or exceed our customer’s expectations. Working directly with Garmin development, manufacturing and quality teams alongside the customer to ensure requirements and expectations are understood, clearly documented and communicated.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Serve as local/in-country point of contact between Garmin and the customer for technical, integration, development and field issues
• Support project deliverables to the customer
• Information gathering, documentation, communication, and translation support between Garmin development teams and the customer
• Translation of technical and business documents from native language to English, and English to native language (emails, presentations, reports, specifications, issues lists, etc.)
• Interpret at meetings (e.g. Checkpoints, Design Reviews, team meetings, customer meetings, etc.)
• Support requirements development and change management activities
• Assist with vehicle and system updates and parts inventory
• Troubleshoot issues and assist development teams for resolution
• Coordinate vehicle validation test plan / support test trips / test reporting, as needed
• Support production launch
• Support warranty analysis (data review / reports)
• On-site support of system integration
• Perform other duties as necessary

Job Summary:

The Program Director will be driving large and complex Professional Services engagements towards one of Ericsson’s customers. Supporting the Engagement Manager and the Key Accounts Manager with extensive telecom and Services knowledge and by taking on both CSR and CFR role
To drive solution definition, design and implementation leveraging industry best practices and Ericsson knowledge and capabilities
Contract fulfillment, managing complex integration/transformation programs, actively seeking to improve top and bottom lines with due consideration to Customer satisfaction
Actively seeking to improve Ericsson business objectives since these programs often have visible impact on the Business Unit and corporate results.
Take over the overall CSR and CFR role in core-3 in large and complex customer business engagements
Ensure alignment of the Customer Solution with Ericsson portfolio strategy
Responsible for dimensioning, and scoping of the customer solution
To identify potential sales opportunities/ add-on sales
Set-up, manager and deliver the program as defined in the program as defined in the Program Specification
Drive the scope definition, cost calculation and planning for different players e.g. internal 3PP’s or Consultant
Translate, analyze and define customer requirements
Manage operational relationships with the customer
Manager the program operational relationship with the customer to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction
Responsible for the contract execution strategy and risk exposure
Manage contract changes and/or amendments during the contract execution
Secure delivery compliance to both contractual and business case requirements
Drives with assigned solution team the definition of the total customer solution

Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements

Equivalent to at least 10 years of relevant experience in IPTV Multimedia:
Content Acquisition,
Video Headend functions,
Content Delivery Systems,
Core IP network transport, Access networks (e.g., QAM-based, IP based), and Home Networks.
Expertise in emerging IP-based video delivery systems in multi-screen environments is critical. Video Network and/or Operations leadership experience with a Cable Operator, video content creator or other Service Provider is a plus.
Ability to build strong Customer Relationships at C-Level (IT, Engineering, Marketing, Finance etc., and has strong communication skills.
A strong background in the domain she/he is assigned to as well as Telco industry acumen and strong understanding of Telco Business Processes and complex organizations.
A proven track of successful delivery projects. Has been the head of complex transformation delivery project, leading a team 20+ people in a multicultural environment and with an off-shore/on-site delivery model.
Willing to help and coach their team, to interact with them and to support them for the professional growth. Has experience in asset and/or organization set-up and growth.
Deep exposure on solution shaping and in sales activities (Statement of Work, estimation tools, contractual negotiation, scope refinement), as well as scope and change request management
Ready to travel, work and potentially to be re-located in any Country of the Region.
Ability to speak Japanese and a strong knowledge of the Japanese market and culture is a mandatory requirement.

Field Application Engineer - SW - ARM - Yokohama


Job Description

The Field Applications Engineer (FAE) is an integral part of ARM KK Japan Sales force, reporting to Japan FAE Manager, and works as a part of APAC FAE team. The FAE works closely with Account Sales Managers, other FAE’s and tool distributors by providing technical pre-sales support mainly on ARM IP (Intellectual Property) and ARM Linux/Android support to develop and win new licensing at his/her assigned product line.  Acting as a technical product expert, the FAE is also responsible for managing (but not performing) the post-sales support provided by the Applications Engineering team to his/her customers for ARM IP and software development products.
 
It is important that the FAE develops professional relationships with the key engineers, architects, and decision-makers at his/her customers as well as internal resources in Japan/US/UK and other APAC team.  It is also important that the FAE can create, report, and execute on key account strategies aimed at growing the business of ARM IP products and other ARM products within these customers.
 
The FAE will participate in defining new products or services with Processor Division and System Design Division. The FAE is expected to maintain a high standard of technical knowledge in relation to our products, services, and competitors.
 
Key Responsibilities
Identify and leverage licensing and design win opportunities of ARM IP products.
Present and demonstrate technical details of ARM IP and other ARM products to customers.  These include:
ARM Processor, Fabric and Debug/Trace products
Software tool products for ARM Processor such as ARM Compiler, ARM Assembler, ARM Linker and ARM GNU tool chain.
DS-5, MDK and RVDS ARM SW development tools
ARM Linux technical consultancy to customers.
Provide technical support in pre-sales opportunities as well as ownership of customer support process. Provide appropriate product recommendations to meet customer requirements on schedule.
Create and maintain good relationship and rapport with key customer technical staff
Feedback customer requirements and competition update to division and other ARM members
Critical Success Factors
 
Full understanding of customer business and technical development plans.
Sound personal relationships with key technical decision-makers at customers and a good understanding of commercial relationships.
Deep working knowledge of ARM architecture such as ARM ISA (Instruction Set Architecture), NEON, VFP, SMP, TrustZone, AMBA, Interconnect, Memory system and its SW tools such as ARM Compiler, GNU tool chain as well as third-party tools.
Development of strong relationships with assigned Sales Account Managers as well as Marketing, Engineering, and Applications Engineering teams of Processor Division and other product Divisions.
Critical thinking of product positioning against competition and ability to present a strong case in front of customers 
Ability to identify customer requirements and effectively feed such information back to division and other ARM colleagues
 
Desired Skills & Experience

Technical Skills
 
Six or more years experience in ARM Linux kernel and tool chain development, performance optimization, maintenance and the contribution.
BS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science.  Master’s degree is a plus.
Working knowledge of ARM Assembly language, C/C++.
Working knowledge of ARM Linux board and its application design with ARM v5T,v6 and v7A-SMP architectures..
Working knowledge of TrustZone, secure booting and secure debug.
Working knowledge of Verilog/VHDL, Verification IP and Linux for EDA is a plus.
Working knowledge of Linaro distribution is a plus.
 
Commercial Skills
 
Dynamic, self-motivated, self-starting individual with the ability to excite and instill confidence in customers about latest and previous technology and standards.
Good presentation skills, able to clearly express technical concepts.
Previous experience in a sales or marketing role is a plus.
