Job Description
Facebook is seeking an experienced development and agency/marketing leader with demonstrated success managing large business categories on a national and long-term scale. The Head of Agency will manage the Facebook monetization of the Agency partner channel in the Japan Region. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with the ability to work cross-functionally to develop scalable solutions for the category. They will build and manage a strategically focused / consultative team, supporting the selling of Facebook’s advertising solutions to large advertising agencies and clients. They’ll lead a high-caliber team in a business that is experiencing rapid and dramatic growth. We are looking for a self-starter who has demonstrated success, dealing with ambiguity, successfully manage teams and problem-solving leadership with limited oversight. Ideal candidates will have management experience in an agency or sales environment as well as extensive experience selling cross-network online marketing solutions such as integrated sponsorships, and display advertising within the industry.

Responsibilities
Play the lead role in developing the holistic regional business of the agency partner channel
Regional responsibility for architecting and coordinating the strategies to build the category in both developed and undeveloped markets
Lead complex initiatives and deliver scalable agency partner development and org improvements
Work cross-functionally with In-Market teams, Global Teams, Business Operations, Platform, Measurement/Metrics, and Product Marketing to optimize our sales vertical efforts
Consult with Product Marketing to help shape product development in support of partner needs
Guide the creation of persuasive presentations and stories that demonstrate the value of Facebook to marketers in the Agency partner channel
Identify the winning strategies and scale the insights throughout the organization
Increase the effectiveness of the team by recognizing opportunities for new approaches
Develop and implement best practices for partner and client interaction, supporting sales and services for Facebook
Create and lead culture initiatives, such as onboarding/training, and identify and establish ways for growing/maintaining a healthy organization


Requirements

15+ years marketing and sales experience, 5+ years in digital media
BA/BS Degree preferred
Strong management experience and skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and people not directly reporting to you
Demonstrates thoughtful risk-taking, challenges the status quo and confidently drives innovation and change for maximum impact on clients and the org
Able to prioritize and focus managers and team on most impactful opportunities

Responsibilities

Exceed sales, pricing and yield goals

Requirements
Passion for Facebook, marketing and social media
10+ years of sales experience and 5+ years of management experience, online or advertising sales is a plus

Responsibilities

You can play a key part in leading this revolution in marketing communications. We are looking for an experienced marketer to lead our B2B marketing efforts across Japan. This position will be responsible for setting a strategy that transforms the way our Facebook for Business brand is positioned in each market. This role incorporates all aspects of marketing communications including driving a top-notch industry presence, identifying and sharing the right success stories, leading design projects, creating meaningful presentation content, driving the right mix of events in each market, identifying the most appropriate set of marketing collateral and more. The position will be part of the APAC marketing team and will be a senior partner to the sales leads in each market. This position requires the ability to work across multiple countries, with a deep understanding of the marketing landscape Japan. This position is full-time and based in Tokyo office.

Responsibilities
Drive the creation of world-class marketing communications for all Facebook marketing products across our agency and brand advertiser customer base in Japan
Develop thought-leadership materials designed to enhance our advertisers’, agency partners’ and the industry’s understanding of social and online marketing
Create innovative content that can be used by our sales teams to generate new business, educate clients/partners on new products/features and engage clients/partners on innovative ways to drive awareness/sales via new marketing techniques
Work closely with cross-functional counterparts to ensure cohesion and scalability for advertising messaging, campaigns and product launches
Develop scalable ways to use data and metrics to drive growth and sales for clients
Create and execute a strategy for events, sponsorships and speaking opportunities – transforming Facebook’s industry presence in each market

Requirements
BA/BS degree preferred, MBA or equivalent a plus
At least 12 years and above of professional experience
Demonstrated capacity for developing industry leading marketing strategies in an Internet and/or advertising environment
Deep knowledge of the advertising/marketing industries across Japan
Experience working with senior marketers at both agencies and global brands and expertise supporting and enabling a sales organization
Strong decision-making skills with successful experience influencing and leading cross-functional teams
Candidates must be fluent in Japanese and English
