Small Business - SMB - Partner Manager - Facebook - Tokyo


Job description
Facebook’s mission is to make the world more open and connected. The SMB team contributes directly to this mission by connecting every small business in the world with their customers on Facebook and then helping them grow through solutions like pages and advertising. We succeed when we help our customers grow their business. This candidate will be responsible for building our agency and third party partnerships programs for working with SMBs. The ideal candidate will have proven understanding of both online and traditional media and be able to leverage customer insights to help agencies and partners build their business using Facebook. This candidate will establish, own and manage an expanding portfolio of agencies and partnerships, focusing on driving revenue, agency education & satisfaction. Success in this position requires strong consultative sales and analytical skills, a focus on client service, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment delivering against tight deadlines. This position is based in Tokyo.

Responsibilities

Represent Facebook SMB organization to current and potential partners and with other Facebook teams
Operate as the lead point of contact for any & all matters specific to your agency and partner portfolio, including escalation and troubleshooting to resolve client issues
Grow revenue, education and solution adoption with agencies & partners
Gather agency and partner feedback to enhance ad products and the customer experience
Deliver consultative support and up-to-date education on our Facebook products
Work cross-functionally within sales and other Facebook organizations to drive revenue and increase customer satisfaction

Requirements

10+ years experience in sales, marketing, consulting, or relationship management
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
Experience with the SMB landscape and online/offline advertising industry Partner & business development and contract negotiation experience
Experience in building and managing teams is a plus
Track record of formulating account strategies to exceed revenue targets
Exceptional client management, communication and presentation skills (both written & verbal) at all levels of an organization and / or at external speaker events
Strong teamwork skills, ability to adapt to fast-paced, work environment with a passion for making an impact
Strong critical thinking, analytical skills with an entrepreneurial mindset preferred
Native fluency in Japanese, business fluency in English
