Director Decision Science Nike Tokyo

Job Description
We are looking for an innovative and experienced expert in the synthesis and packaging of consumer analytics to join our Center of Excellence and Consumer Decision Science team. You'll be tasked with identifying opportunities to use consumer knowledge to influence decision-making and to translate analytics and insights into actions for our teams focused on serving consumers in Japan. The roles is based at Nike's offices in Tokyo.
The ideal candidate will have a history of developing creative and effective ways of integrating and sharing consumer knowledge and the vision and leadership skills to partner with key business stakeholders within Japan and drive improved decision-making.

Responsibilities

Synthesizing and translating complex findings into curated, relevant and useful deliverables.
Developing and extending best practices in identifying critical business stakeholders, develop KPI reporting timing and cadence and to evaluate the impact of analytics and insights.
Working with senior executive clients to understand requirements and improve opportunities to drive knowledge into action.
Desired Skills and Experience
Four year University degree in a related field such as statistics, econometrics, applied math or behavioral science research. Advanced degree in a quantitative or research field a plus.
Minimum 8 years' experience in senior-level client services or decision science role in an applied analytics or quantative marketing setting.
Deep experience with applying analytics to digital marketing, e-commerce or digital product development.
Demonstrated experienced in using consumer data to drive marketing and sales outcomes or consumer experiences
Ability to manage a portfolio of large research projects with multiple business stakeholders in a fast moving setting with ambiguous requirements.
A good understanding of applied statistics including sampling approaches, causal modeling, time series analysis and data mining techniques.
Demonstated excellence and innovation in synthesizing complex findings, data visualization and storytelling and client presentation and partnerships.
Fluency in both English and Japanese is required for this role (minimum TOEIC 850+).

Director Member Services Nike Tokyo

Job Description
As our Global Member Services capability begins to move from strategy to execution,we have tremendous opportunity to shift our mindset, behaviors and outcomes in the Japan geography to catalyze the next phase of growth. To lead and accelerate this new capability and shift, we are looking for a Director of Member Services to lead and execute the integrated membership offense in the geography, partnering with key brand, category and Direct to Consumer teams to deliver a personal, seamless and premium journey across all member touch points.

From digital (Nike.com, mobile apps) to retail and consumer services to events, the Director of Member Services will serve as the ultimate champion of the member experience in Japan. He/she will drive the offense to ensure we maximize the value for the member while delivering the membership goals for the geography, including new member sign up, engagement, revenue, retention and advocacy.

To achieve these brand and business objectives, this role will also represent the Japan geography as part of the Global Member Service Leadership team, developing functional excellence in critical membership and service domains. With tight alignment to the overarching Global Program/Framework, he/she will orchestrate the team as we establish and scale the Japan member offering, enabling a Go-T-Market plan for Member Services inside Japan that integrates with and works across key geography timelines and processes.

Desired Skills and Experience
Four year University degree.
Minimum 10 years' experience in relationship management with brands that have an excellent track record of consumer relationship programs and building.
Strategic ability to work across complex functional teams to drive integration.
Ability to develop marketing and membership development programs to drive consumer loyalty and acquisition.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English including presentations on complex business issues (minimum TOEIC 850+).

Director Energy Brand Nike Tokyo

Job Description
The Director of Energy Brand for Japan will serve as a leader of the Nike Energy business and brand unit to enhance Nike brand equity and create demand for Nike pinnacle products within Japan market innovators and early adopter consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

LEAD THE ENERGY VISION FROM STRATEGY TO EXECUTION
Contribute to develop the triennial strategic platform for energy marketing establishing objectives, strategies, priorities, plans and process consistent with Japan business and brand goals. Generate valuable and relevant consumer insights and industry trend reports to inspire design and product creation and inform brand marketing strategies with compelling workable concepts. Monitor Marketplace, Competitors and create tools to measure impact of product and brand initiatives to proactively identify any opportunity for brand development. Create the annual energy marketing plan, ensuring resources to deliver against strategic priorities, developing clear objectives and actions to innovate product, place, people and projects.


DRIVE INTEGRATED MARKETING EXECUTION
Establish a clear and effective process to plan, execute, evaluate seasonal marketing initiatives across Japan categories and functions. Develop inspiring and compelling briefings for all key product and brand initiatives. Lead the IMM virtual team and track concrete and consistent progresses against goals set. Create effective tools to ensure timely, relevant information sharing across Japan functions. Participate actively in the seasonal cross-category brand executional process, bring in the energy point of view delivering clear seasonal plans integrated with overall brand direction. Work with key category counterparts to identify opportunities to create innovative product and brand experiences for early adopters. Champion functional excellence.

Desired Skills and Experience
Four year University degree in Economics, Business, Marketing, Communication or related fields. MBA, Master’s in Marketing-related discipline or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 10 years' experience in marketing/communication related role in “High-Value” brand driven organizations preferably in the lifestyle industry.
Experience in creative agencies working on “High-Value” lifestyle brands in lieu of company experience is acceptable.
Experience in building brands and use all consumers touch points.
Experience in navigating a highly matrix organization.
Strategic planning and business analysis experience, including experience making business decisions that impact product and business growth.

Director Store Operations Nike Tokyo

Job Description
As our Director of Store Operations you will lead the Nike Japan Retail Store Operations function to ensure operational excellence by delivering store centric solutions through partnership, innovation and brand focus.

You'll create and implement Store Operations strategy and provide strategic retail leadership to Store Operations related functions in the development and execution of all Retail operating best practices, standards, systems, policies and procedures.

You'll ensure that Store Operations has a comprehensive seasonal, annual and 3-year plan that supports the Japan Direct to Consumer (DTC) strategy and business growth. You'll be a strong and influential member of the Japan DTC leadership team and the Global Store Operations leadership team. You'll also act as a liaison with field leadership to identify and implement standards to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency across multiple concepts. You'll partner with global and geography stakeholders in the development and evolution of new retail concepts.

This role will require regular travel throughout Japan and some travel to Nike World Headquarters in Portland, Oregon.

Responsibilities
Keep up to date in retail trends and best practices and establish processes for continuous feedback and process improvement.
In partnership with field leadership, establish and measure key performance indicators that will serve as standards of business success. You'll identify opportunities to improve business performance through consumer insights and information.
Ensure reporting and accountability systems are in place to measure and improve results. Establish processes for analysis of results and continuous process improvement.
Build and own a high performance and proactive Retail Operations team through Human Resource Planning, organizational structure alignment, role clarity, succession and career planning, learning and development, hiring, performance management, coaching, diversity and employee relations.
Ensure the alignment of business goals with individual CFE accountability for the team.

Requirements
4 year University degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of retail operations, retail field multi unit or similar experience.
Operations related experience in one or more of the following; Supply Chain, Retail Operations, Risk Management, Facilities, Communications, Best Practices and/or Loss Prevention.
Ability to understand and manage financial budgets (direct and indirect accountability).
Experience operating as a business partner with a field based orgaization.
Fluency in Japanese and English (TOEIC minimum 800+).
