Facebook is looking for a high caliber business leader to join the Japan management team. The Head of Business Solutions supports the Japan sales organization in meeting its strategic objectives by driving business planning and review efforts, strategic projects/initiatives and managing/supporting the overall operating cadence of the business. Partnering with cross-functional groups the Head of Business Solutions will deliver programs that enable the Sales team to operate as a cohesive and integrated team, drive scalable revenue growth and operational effectiveness across the region. The position is full-time and based in our Tokyo office.

Responsibilities
Business and strategic planning: Lead in strategic, business and operational planning and ensure decisions in line with the global sales organization’s approach
Together with sales management team, drive operational excellence in the Sales organization through identification and execution of opportunity areas that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business
Operating cadence and cross-functional alignment: Lead operational reviews and rhythm of the business to drive decision-making and review progress on regional goals and priorities (e.g. monthly/quarterly business reviews)
Provide business analytic strength to help drive initiatives critical to ongoing growth
Establish financial and operating targets and ensure alignment with strategic plan
Identify and maintain meaningful periodic summaries of key sales operational metrics to drive timely decision making
Strategic projects and initiatives: Identify, scope and drive critical projects and initiatives for the Japan business, partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization
Support in developing and communicating a consistent vision and focus across the organization

Requirements

Bachelor degree in business, marketing or other related discipline, MBA a plus
12+ years of business strategy, analytics or planning experience required, preferably in the digital media or internet space
Experience leading strategy and operations projects at a top-tier consulting firm or in a corporate strategy/operations team. Change management experience a plus
Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, ability to solve complex and diverse business problems (commercial, operational, organizational)
Exceptional ability to problem-solve individually or in a group setting and understand key financial drivers of the business
Strong project management and influencing skills and ability to lead and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organizationSolutions and detail oriented, with strong commercial/business acumenUnderstanding of organizational dynamics, operating experience with large and complex organizations
Ability to shift priorities quickly, while maintaining organization and control
People and team leadership skills
Candidates must be fluent in Japanese and English
Superior Excel and PowerPoint skills
