With more than 1 billion users and 70,000 advertisers, Facebook is making the world more open and connected and changing the way brands and consumers communicate.Facebook is looking for a strong, experienced leader to join Facebook’s Senior Leadership team to help build and manage a team of vertical industry professionals to sell and deliver Facebook’s marketing solutions to large online and offline advertisers headquartered in the Japan. The ideal candidate will be well versed in digital marketing and the power of the Facebook platform, applied experience developing vertical solutions and have previously managed and motivated a high-performance team. The “Industry Head” will engage directly with CMO’s and senior executives of the leading brands, serve as a public evangelist and ambassador for Facebook and be keenly focused on surpassing the company’s sales objectives. This position can be located in our Tokyo office.
Responsibilities
Integral part of the Senior Leadership team and key contributor to building the strategic direction of the Facebook’s overall business in Japan
Play a critical role in building, inspiring, training and managing a talented, motivated, highly consultative sales and services team
Be seen as an industry thought leader and trusted peer by executives at the leading companies and brands in Japan
Understand our client’s businesses and develop appropriate solutions to meet their needs
Exceed sales, pricing and yield goals and develop scalable operations solutions and improvements to support Facebook’s continued advertiser growth
Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to drive revenue growth with new and existing customers
Execute projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research and strategy development.
Requirements
5 -10 + years hands on experience of building and managing high performing sales teams
Proven track record of dealing at CEO & CMO level in top listed companies
History of building new go to market strategies for new and evolving business models
A deep understanding of the industry's issues, a vision for its growth, and a commitment to advance Facebooks forward-looking strategies within the marketplace
Fluency in written and conversational English and Japanese required
