Page Operations Specialist - Facebook - Tokyo


Job description
Facebook’s mission is to make the world more open and connected. The Page Operations team contributes directly to this mission by connecting every business in the world with their customers on Facebook and enabling them to authentically represent their brand on the platform. This position will be challenged with having to balance the day-to-day service/support of our customers, while also identifying innovative ways to solve problems upstream and scale our operations. Ideal candidates will have an appetite for scaled operations, a high comfort working with cross-functional partners, and a strong analytical mindset. Successful team members have a passion for business success, strong attention to detail, analytical problem-solving abilities, and keen eyes for operational inefficiencies. This position is full-time and located in our Tokyo office. Provide excellent operational and consultative support to both internal and external customers to ensure Facebook is the premier platform for business development;Develop compelling analyses to execute data-informed initiatives that improve customer experience and drive growth of Facebook Pages;Support and lead strategic programs to grow our business through reactive and proactive service initiatives;Identify trends and develop solutions to optimize team workflows and scale our operations;Ability to understand policies and implement them in a variety of workflows;Work cross-functionally with sales, policy and product teams within Facebook;

BA/BS degree;Fluency in English and Japanese essential, with an additional language (Mandarin or Korean) desirable;Diverse experience in scalable operations or service/sales role;Strong problem solving and analytical skills;Knowledge of SQL (or equivalent) and strong Excel skills preferred;Highly effective at interacting with internal and external customers and serving as a subject matter expert on Facebook products for business;Experience leading and supporting multiple initiatives, with minimal guidance, to implement change and process improvements;Self-motivated and able to thrive in a constantly changing environment;Excellent written and verbal communication skills;High energy, passion, and good sense of humor;
