Vice President - Facilities Management - DBS Bank - Hong Kong


Job description

Responsibilities

Manage the whole facilities management team and outsourced service provider with the objective to ensure bank’s premises are safe, hygienic, comfortable and efficient for staff and customers
Review and formulate Service Level Agreements with internal customers and design programs to ensure services are delivered in the most efficient manner according to the users’ requirements
Lead service providers to ensure the facilities services are delivered efficiently and effectively
Prepare annual property operation, maintenance and capital works replacement budgets and ensure funds are available to maintain required standards
Set up and implement all standard procedures and control systems on facility management projects and ensure they are strictly followed by facility management site teams and contractors respectively
Develop and enhance facilities management level and standards; Control and monitor payment process for facilities management works
Develop business continuity plan (BCP) for the department and to provide support to other business/ support units in their BCP
Develop database and procedures for housekeeper, fire warden and on-call officer for daily co-ordination and emergency repair

Requirements

Degree or above, preferably in facilities management, engineering, building or related disciplines
Member of IFMA, CIBSE, HKIE or equivalent
At least 10 years’ relevant working experience in facilities management or engineering, with exposure to contract and landlord management
Knowledge of best practice in facility management and its related Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators
Good technical knowledge of building and mechanical / electrical services
Customer focus; effective communication and vendor management skills; Innovative and creative in solution delivery
Strong leadership and organizational skills in planning and scheduling, with excellent administration and customer services skills
