Director - Japan Sales - Electrical - Eaton - Tokyo


Job description
PRIMARY FUNCTION:

This position is responsible to define, establish and deploy business strategy to develop and grow market share in Japan. To lead together with the managers from different BUs, the definition and implementation of business plan in achieving target set, including organizational set up, sales and marketing activities.


Define and develop resources, tools and activities. Understand and identify customer needs and market requirement in Japan to align with Global and Asia offering strategy, influence offer innovation and competitiveness. Create measurement platform to outline progress related to the deployment of the various capture strategies as well as their degree of success. The goal of this position is to increase market coverage, grow market share and continuously enhance the efficiency of the company go-to-market.

This position provides mentorship and guidance to the organization through using of functional skills , interpersonal skill and business acumen.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Develop, own and execute a country sales strategy.
Own the strategic planning and profit plan process for sales organization.
Achieve profit plan (budget) and strategic plan - orders, sales, price, profitability and growth objectives.
Demonstrate Eaton values as a leader; motivate team to accomplish specific sales objectives. Act appropriately to ensure that employees are treated fairly; guide discipline/performance management process as necessary.
Responsible for key customer relationships to maximize customer affinity and effectiveness of the business.
Responsible for promotions, channel programs, association networking and lead process to maximize the pipeline for growth and return on sales.
Master Eaton’s product offering and build expertise to support customer requirements.
Lead the integration of sales org and drive synergy sales targets.

Experience in staff management.
Business level English is required
