SOFTWARE PROGRAM MANAGER #1650643
This person will drive external customer programs, mainly in the Automotive APAC markets.
- SW Program Management
* Interface with key OEMs on software issues
* Drive OEM issues within NVIDIA's Embedded software engineering team
* Provide technical feedback to the OEMs regarding the resolution of their issues.
* Drive OEM software priorities within NVIDIA, and champion the OEM within NVIDIA's Embedded software engineering team
* Ensure that the OEM's experience with the NVIDIA Embedded software team adds value to their overall relationship with NVIDIA
* Manage software releases for OEM's by working with development and SQA leads. This includes defining releases, driving features and bug fixes, testing, and documentation.

Required Organizational Skills and Traits:
- Hands on experience with software development and process specifically for device drivers and software application development
- Detail oriented with proven ability to multitask in a fast moving environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements
- Excellent communications and technical presentation skills
- Proactive, responsive and keen on process enhancement
- Able to think strategically and tactically and to build consensus to make programs successful
- Demonstrable ability to think outside the box to resolve technical issues and resource conflicts
- Demonstrated ability to get complex product to customers
- Consensus and team building skills
Required Technical Skills:
- Japanese-speaking is a must. Japanese-writing skills also preferred.
- 5 years programming of a modern programming language highly desired
- Thorough knowledge of software engineering principles
- Experience with productivity tools and process automation in support of this role a big plus
- Knowledge of operating systems, graphics principles and standards are a plus
Required Experience and Education:
- 5 years in a similar or related role
- BS EE or CS
- PM Certification/training a plus
