Who You Are:
This position is responsible for all marketing activities, both strategic and tactical, required to meet business objectives. Activities include driving and executing on global campaign initiatives in addition to driving region specific strategic/budget marketing planning, analysis (key performance indicators and ROI) and reporting for all marketing channels. Additionally, this position is responsible for managing the region’s overall alignment with sales management and overseeing all lead generation programs involving customer acquisition, retention and reactivation in addition to product cross-sell and upsell in addition to all brand awareness campaigns, site merchandising, email and promotions . This position implies current or future Marketing Manager reporting. This position typically reports to the VP of Marketing.
Your Next Challenge:
Regional Revenue: meet the overal revenue objectives for the region through the following responsibilities
Regional Marketing and Sales Alignment: build and propose marketing plan, actions and tactics in collaboration with sales to meet revenue objectives, the role's main focal point for VP Sales for a specific region.
Global/Regional Integrated/Multi-Channel Campaigns: based on overall plan and prioritization, execute Global multi-channel campaigns and communication strategies including events, PR/Social Media for driving awareness, positioning, site traffic and customer acquisition. Measurement and deriving learnings from all campaigns are a key part of this responsibility
Global/Regional Brand Identity and Messaging: Oversee that team is working closely with internal and external marketing communication and creative service entities to ensure locally development marketing campaigns align/reinforce the branding and positioning of the overall company and, specifically, gettyimages.com and thinkstock.com.
Regional Budget Management: Develops, handles and monitors regional marketing budget
Regional Market Analysis: Provide insights on regional marketplace through proactive analysis and elaboration of Sales inputs, segment marketing, research, customer trends, market opportunities and pitfalls
Regional Marketing Planning and Measurement: plan, priorities growth area opportunities (lead gen), supervise execution (brand awareness, site merch, email, promotions etc.), measure, report, and drive optimal marketing channel mix in region for best ROI performance.
Global/Regional Lead Generation Planning & Analysis; plan, prioritize, oversee execution, analyze & optimize all lead generation programs aligned with sales & segment vertical growth priorities . Identify sources of customer acquisition, retention, reactivation, Xsell or upsell across internal databases and through external sources (research, sponsorships, partnerships, events, local value exchange campaigns).
Global/Regional Site Merchandising, Email & Promotional Programs: Oversee localization of all global content and developing local content and promotions for local websites, email and promotional campaign activities. Ensuring measurement and optimization of these channels are key.
Staff Management: Manage multiple marketing managers, feedback on results, performance of marketing actions.
Relationship Management: Main liaison with other Global Marketing Functions including Segment & Business Intelligence to establish an ongoing collaboration and communication flow. Share best practices among all areas with all regional marketers globally. Develop and maintain relationship with Country Manager of iStock business to leverage ideas, best practices and opportunities to share resources.
What you`ll Need:
Minimum of 8 years relevant and/or management experience in business to business marketing preferred.
Experience in driving longer term strategies and operating/executing at the tactical level.
Significant experience in Lead Generation, Customer Acquisition and Retention.
Solid experience of partnering/aligning with sales functions towards revenue objectives.
Sales oriented mentality and commercial acumen.
Experience in developing marketing plans, budgets including brand awareness, customer acquisition, retention across a media mix in both online and offline environments.
Knowledge of paid search, organic search, search engine optimization, affiliate marketing and social media a plus.
Project Management Ability to work with campaign schedules, deadlines, briefs, calendars.
Knowledge of the relevant markets,: Southern Europe
