Account Manager - Partner Development - Training, SMB - Twitter - Tokyo


Job description
Twitter is on a mission to #ReachEveryPersonOnThePlanet, and the SMB Sales team’s job is to make sure that Twitter reaches every business. With that in mind, the Twitter Sales team is seeking a leader to help build our Small & Medium Business (SMB) team.
We are looking for a Junior Account Manager who is an ambitious, proven, and metrics-driven business leader. This role will be primarily accountable for the acquisition and activation of millions of new SMB advertisers through metrics-driven marketing programs and innovative 3rd party partnerships to drive scale.
The ideal candidate will have experience building and leading sales & marketing teams for SMB customers.
Responsibilities:
Deliver against quarterly revenue quotas and drive massive growth from Twitter’s SMB (self-serve) advertiser channel
Build and maintain solid customer relationship with assigned SMB accounts
#Innovate Through Experimentation - Serve as a leader working cross-functionally with product management, product marketing, and engineering to establish and refine Twitter’s strategy for SMB advertisers and to build tools and programs to allow acquisition to massively scale
Sell Twitter Marketing solution and service via phone call, meet and exceed set business targets
Develop and train account plan together with partners and provide long term and short term forecast/outlook
Work across geographies to enable global scale and consistency
Ensure success of marketing campaigns for the purposes of advertiser acquisition

Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in digital marketing/sales
BA/BSc degree (In lieu of degree, 3 years relevant experience)
Native level of Japanese and business level of English
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years’ relevant business experience, including social media and online advertising -- deep marketing and operations expertise required, preferably dealing with SMB customers
Experience with direct response-oriented marketing, business development, and partner/vendor management
Background working within Contact Center or Operations environments
Strong coaching/training and people management skills
Achievement and results oriented
