We are currently looking to recruit a Partner Operations Manager to manage our relationship, satisfaction, and business results with a number of Microsoft Partners and Microsoft Subsidiaries in Japan.

- Do you like developing key relationships, engaging and influencing stakeholders, vendors, sales and other business groups to drive strategy and deliver high quality services and systems for our Customers?

The Partner Operations Manager interfaces with Microsoft's external licensing stakeholders and drives strategies to pro-actively address and simplify complex licensing issues, communicate program changes, and work to minimize sales/Operations related issues. The portfolio extends across verticals and other business groups.

The Partner Operations Manager is accountable for excellence in overall operational performance for their client base and identification and creation of solutions to solve deficiencies improve performance, maximize revenue within their business segment and driving change on a global level when appropriate.

Key Responsibilities of this position include:
- Operations Account Management: Accountable for and own overall operational performance and excellence of managed partner account. Through deep enegaement with partners, undertand their issues/challenge, advocate Voice of Partner and Customer and drive the resolutions collaborating with other teams for Partner and Customer satisfaction
- Field Engaement: Partner with Field to identify and transition activities from Partner Account Manager & Licensing Specialists to Operations. Joint account planning and Conditions of Satisfaction management with Partner Account Manager Participate in sales cycle and influence operational goals and planning through strategic insight and action. Provide close support to field in opportunity management and deal construction.
- Business Insight: Provide end-to-end Operations insight for Japan. Drive shared commitments with clients & cross organizational teams to deliver business results. Understand Microsoft’s vision and tenants; assess through discussions with subsidiary, Program teams and worldwide business teams’ yearly roadmaps; then lead the execution of an operations framework to meet partner needs now and in the future. Manage or participate in formal ROBs with responsibilities for the planning cycle and executive relationships. Understand compliance and regulations..
- Strategic Management: This position will play a significant role in defining the rules of engagement with subsidiaries, and channel partners for the defined scope of responsibility. This role will serve as an operations consultant, a thought leader, and drive a thorough understanding of the lines of business and portfolio it supports. This role will also enable sales and revenue growth through new operational business models.
- Personal/Projects: Drive key projects for organizational goal achievement and customer satisifcation to completion in collaboration with teams in our highly matrixes organization.
- Issue Management: Accountable for our Partner satisfaction. Secondary point of escalation for partner queries. Drive continuous improvement in issue management processes.
- Readiness: Accountable for partner training, field readiness and coordination of resources at a local level.

- A minimum of 8-10 years of demonstrated work experience in an operations environment involving licensing, account management or customer service
- BA/BS or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate within a business stream, define processes at a regional or global level and manage projects, budgets and timelines
- Demonstrated excellence in cultivating and managing business relationships at the executive level
- Demonstrated excellence in thought leadership and execution management; ability to influence without authority
- Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
- Outstanding verbal, written & interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Demonstrated expertise in Account Management
- Willingness to travel
- Excellent command of English

Excellent understanding of Supply Chain and/or Distribution business.
- Excellent understanding of finished goods, OEM and/or licensing channels
- MBA
