Position Summary
The main purpose of this role is to provide product management support to internal and external stakeholders in the development and management of Visa Debit in Japan. This role also provides project implementation support to clients/processors/internal functions.

Responsibilities
1. Sales and internal process support for Visa Debit products in Japan
• As part of the team, the role holder will support the development and deployment of materials, presentations and sales collateral for debit products for use with and by issuer and prospective issuer clients. Support consulting sales activities to obtain issuing commitment from target accounts when appropriate
• Sales activities contain consulting support in area of products strategy, system architect
• Manage and control various internal processes such as procurement, budget and spending

2. Project support
• Take a support role in organising, managing the plan for and communicating Japan DMU project progress, direction and milestones as appropriate, working in close co-operation with Head of Japan DMU and Debit BL
• Support Visa product implementation projects as a project member.
• Collaborate with APCEMEA product managers, third party processors, member’s planning/system division and external consultants to ensure smooth delivery of implementation projects and marketing / product campaigns as required.

3. Day to day activities
• Contact point in team for clients and potential issuers to support and enhance debit products
• Support Account Managers for member’s product promotions
• Review, design and develop all Japanese specific sales and education product collateral for Visa debit

Qualifications

Professional
• Working experience in leading international finance industry
• Business degree in either a technology or business field

Technical
• Microsoft office skills
• Basic knowledge of bank system/networks
