For the Japanese subsidiary of Pierre Fabre Dermocosmetique (PFDC-J), we are currently looking for a Business Director – Professional Hair Care based inTokyo. Reporting to PFDC-J President, you will have a full responsibility/accountability over the business of our Professional Hair Care brand Rene Furterer. Your main mission will be to develop and lead the implementation of a solid business growth plan for Rene Furterer, including proposal in terms of business strategy, sales & marketing organization, brand position & product line up.
Your mission will consist in:
- Develop and implement middle and long term development strategy for Rene Furterer inJapan
- With the relevant Head Office departments, consolidate and communicate relevant information for international competitive intelligence
- Design the local marketing plan by channel/targets, and ensure it is applied
- Develop and implement annual marketing plan for Rene Furterer including sales forecast, marketing budget, new product launches
- In collaboration with the other departments involved, validate participation in national conferences and Public Relations actions, prepare the related budget
- Analyze the results of the marketing campaign and the effectiveness of the tools used
- If necessary, temporary replace the absence of the PFDC-J President and represent the company
- Manage recruitment, training and development actions in collaboration with Top Management and HRD
Desired Skills and Experience
- Higher education, scientific or business
- At least 10 years of experience in sales/marketing, in the hair care sector
- Proven experience of managing both Professional and Retail channels
- Proven experience of Sales Management, Marketing and Trade Marketing, as well as P&L Management
- Demonstrated experience of managing external Partner
- Proficiency in Japanese and English, French would be a plus
- Team leadership, negotiation skills, results driven; self starter
- Hands on approach and multitask
