Alliances Director - Japan - Infor - Tokyo


Job description

The Alliance Sales Director will work closely with Infor country manager, sales directors, strategic accounts team, presales, consulting team, and C level leaders of Alliance partners to drive Infor growth strategies, field coverage by industry and solution, and developing incremental opportunities through and with Strategic Alliance partners, including SI, Technology, Solution, Managed Services providers.

• Formulate local alliance strategy and define go-to-market model for different type of partners

• Actively manage influenced revenue pipeline against Alliance sales objectives/metrics to exceed quarterly revenue targets

• Identify, develop, recruit, enable alliance partners who are committed to help selling Infor’s SW products

• Work with SI partners to build up Infor CoE and drive joint sales initiatives and demand gen

• Identify areas of collaboration with local/global Managed Services Partners and IaaS providers to develop and drive Infor Cloud business

• Work with marketing and PR team to plan and execute partner marketing activities for demand gen and monitor the results

• Provide accurate and timely Alliance sales scorecards on revenues, market coverage, pipelines against agreed targets and run QBRs with partners

• Maintain an understanding of Infor technology and articulates Infor stories to partners and their customers

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor degree or equivalent

• Strong enterprise sales skills with track record of meeting a sales quota

• At least 7-10 years of alliance/consulting sales experience in IT industry

• History in successfully developing and leading multiple strategic partnerships, especially system integrators and IT consulting

• Be creative and analytical with strong problem solving skills and the ability to succeed in a fast paced environment

• Strong leadership with C-level relationship engagement and management skills

• Excellent written and verbal English proficiency and interpersonal communication skills

• MBA or equivalent degree is plus

• Cloud business experience is plus
