Executive Director - Enterprise Systems Group - Lenovo - Tokyo
Job description
Lenovo is building a new server and workstation business in Japan targeting the enterprise Market. This role will own the P&L. Reporting to the GM Japan, the Director/Executive Director, Enterprise Systems Group (ESG), will lead the launch, ramp and ongoing operation of Lenovo’s enterprise server and workstation business in Japan, encompassing strategic planning, technical sales product marketing, product management, sales operations, branding, pricing and field and technical support.
Position Requirements
The successful candidate will be a senior marketing or general management executive with a successful track record launching new enterprise-focused hardware systems solutions in the Japan market. With at least 15 years of total experience including five in a senior marketing or general management role, the ideal executive will have a broad range of experience and exposure across multiple go-to-market disciplines, including strategic marketing, product marketing, product management, market development, sales operations and technical sales support. This executive will have the capacity to guide and develop a comprehensive understanding of the industry and distill this understanding into simple, straightforward business issues/problems that can be converted into enterprise solutions that make a clear difference to the customer’s business. S/he will be results oriented, and driven by excellence. S/he will have Entrepreneurship to build organisation and business formation for the go-to-market strategy. S/he will also work well in a matrix environment with peers in product development and sales and with regional general managers around the world. This executive should command respect on a global basis at all levels throughout the organization, and externally with customers and potential partners by virtue of his/her industry expertise and marketing acumen.
Education credentials should include a technical undergraduate degree and preferably a graduate level degree (MS or MBA).
