Logistics Manager
The Role:
The Logistics Manager (LM) will manage the regional warehousing and transportation delivery operations. In this role the LM will collaborate cross functionally with other Supply Chain departments in Logitech and externally with Logitech's 3rd parties. The LM will drive performance and process improvement in processes that impact our warehouse and regional transportation end to end. You have a strong background in Supply Chain and Logistics.

Manage and drive metrics in the area of Logistics such as service, cost, cycle time and supplier performance management.
Responsible for ongoing management of the 3rd parties warehousing and transportation delivery. Provide significant leadership to these 3rd parties to ensure alignment to Logitech's corporate and supply chain goals
Develop timely short term & long-term solutions to address operational challenges of a complex nature which may require cross-functional/cross organizational issue resolution.
Operational Excellence: Work effectively with global and regional stakeholders to meet all business needs while optimizing processes and resources
First point of escalation for all regional logistics operational issues
Ensure strong linkage with internal cross functional teams, and Central teams for business and supply chain operations.
Development of a network of relationships with carriers, transportation managers, and sector professionals.
Import & Export Control – in transit monitoring and delivery planning. Transport and documentation arrangements
Support Customs & Trade Compliance
Freight audit and invoice control
Support Finance on Accruals, Standard cost setting, Budget setting and SOX documentation
Work with IT and suppliers to guarantee complete and accurate OTM input

Your Skills:

For consideration, you must bring the following skills and behaviors to our team:

5 to 8 years relevant experience in supply chain disciplines for a multinational or global company.
Bachelor or Master degree in Logistics and/or Supply Chain
Fluent English and Japanese, verbal and in writing. Chinese verbal and in writing is a plus.
Knowledge of customs and trade compliance Japan
Problem solver, results oriented and metrics focused (maintain and manage metrics)
Demonstrated achievements in excellent project management and continuous improvement. Ability to drive initiatives from start to end, on time, within budget and expectations
Ability to recommend practical solutions using innovation, good judgment, creativity and strategic thinking.
Analytical, process oriented and time management
Knowledge of Oracle, Oracle OTM and MS Office
Self starter, self motivated: Ability to thrive in a remote setting (immediate team, direct line manager and dotted line managers can be located in different countries/time zones)
Capable of identifying and effectively communicating key messages to a variety of stakeholders. Demonstrates ability to influence teams to achieve shared vision and drive accountability.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to be flexible and adapt responsibilities and working practices in an evolving department
Ability to thrive in cross-functional environment.
Strong leadership skills.
