The area: Marketing
The Google Marketing team is responsible for marketing the company's exceptional product portfolio to end users, partners and customers on a worldwide basis. We have a variety of roles, including product marketing, creative services, event management, quantitative marketing and field marketing.
The role: APAC Director of Consumer Marketing
The Director of Consumer Marketing will lead a team in brand management, architecture and cross-product program development (collaborating with our sales, product, and partnerships teams) to assure that we have consistent branding plans and initiatives. You will work with Asia Pacific quantitative insights team in merging insights to develop consumer initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Identify and develop innovative brand strategies and plans to drive engagement and product adoption.
Develop marketing plans for partners and customers; be accountable for driving plans through to implementation.
Drive uptake of Search, Chrome, Social, Commerce and other Google consumer products while aiming to grow Google through creative marketing programs coupled with a strong business partnership.
Lead team to design and execute on integrated marketing campaigns to drive user acquisition and engagement; communicate marketing strategy to senior/executive management at Google; act as a valuable branding partner and advocate.
Develop and drive robust Asia Pacific marketing strategy and plan to launch new products/features and defend market share. Requirements:
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, MBA a plus.
At least 15 years of experience with the majority in technology or media marketing in a leading consumer technology or media company with emphasis in consumer marketing.
Solid track record in general marketing and experience in product marketing with core responsibilities creating and executing successful consumer marketing campaigns.
Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence; demonstrated ability to lead early stage strategic marketing initiatives.
Superior business sense, problem solving, project management and analytical skills.
Proven track record of results, demonstrated accountability for achieving individual and shared goals
