The role: Product Marketing Manager, APAC YouTube
As the Product Marketing Manager of APAC YouTube, you are responsible for defining and executing marketing strategies and tactics for growing and engaging the YouTube community and power users across Asia-Pacific. In this role, you'll develop regional programs and execute global community initiatives, ensuring successful implementation across all localized YouTube domains across the region. You will be responsible for setting YouTube users strategy and working in close collaboration with the global team.
Responsibilities:
Develop and drive robust marketing strategy and ideate, develop, and execute marketing campaigns that drive YouTube users acquisition and engagement.
Liaise with the APAC and global team to define YouTube product positioning, messaging, and branding.
Design and execute users campaigns and partner co-marketing campaigns for YouTube. Requirements:
BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience, MBA a plus.
At least 5 years of experience in product marketing, marketing program management, or consulting, ideally in online entertainment or new media.
Experience working with social media or digital communities.
Strong understanding and interest in online entertainment market and online video, with a desire to find the next gem on YouTube and share it with the world.
Demonstrated capacity for developing and executing strategy.
Outstanding and effective written and oral communication skills in Japanese and English.
