Head - Enterprise Marketing - Japan - Google - Tokyo


Job description
As Google Head of Enterprise Marketing for Japan, you will be a part of one of Google's most strategic and fast growing business areas. You will define the Japan enterprise marketing strategy, and execute tactical plans through a range of channels and programs to increase awareness, educate, and generate demand.
You will help shape how Google markets its products to businesses, and leverage your prior experience as a B2B software or technology marketing manager in the Japan market. You will be expected to demonstrate a passion and interest in understanding our customer needs and market effectively to them as a result. You are a self-starter; work at a rapid pace, be flexible, metrics driven, and implement marketing plans against the strategic requirements of the local market. You will work across a range of communication media, testing and iterating marketing campaigns as well as proposing new approaches. You will also work across a broad cross-functional teams and regions.

Responsibilities
Generate awareness and demand for Google Enterprise products, including Apps, Geo, Search, Cloud Platform and Chromebooks for Business.
Develop a strong understanding of customer needs and how to best position our products in the local market, defining and implementing our Japan marketing and communications strategy.
Drive relationship marketing and lead generation activities including webinars, events, direct marketing, collateral and customer case studies.
Collaborate with internal teams to evolve customer perceptions in the marketplace and develop Japan enterprise narrative, and support our growing field sales force and channel partners through sales collateral, sales tools, competitive information and insights.
Manage internal and external agencies to complete projects on time and on budget; track and analyse the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns to determine ROI and prioritize resources.

Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.


Preferred Qualifications

Extensive B2B marketing experience, with proven track record in developing and executing winning strategies in the Enterprise space.
Passion for Cloud technologies and understanding of Google’s strategic and competitive position.
Experience supporting a sales team and channel partners with ability to work collaboratively with headquarters marketing functions in a fast moving environment.
Ability to influence wide audience at all levels and work effectively across functions, and proven experience in recruiting, developing, managing and leading a team.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with fluency in both Japanese and English.
