Managing Director - RED Digital Cinema - Tokyo

Job description
As Managing Director, you are responsible for the effective operational management of RED Japan to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Accountable for sales growth and success of RED Digital Japan.
Provide short and long term strategic and operational direction to support RED’s objectives.
Assign and manage assets, organize and advance specific country and distributor sales plans.
Attract, motivate, and develop a high-performing and maintainable sales team to exploit opportunity across their specific region.
Bring a strong analytical expertise joined with international marketplace understanding, revenue administration and a high level of sales knowledge.
The capability to create and grow long term relationships with both internal and external customers.


Desired Skills and Experience
Key Qualifications:
Experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals and forecasting results
Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high level of perform and exceed targets
An in depth understanding of business strategy and components.
A proven track record in managing a successful business in Japan.
Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to think globally/creatively, turn information into effective strategies, and drive results.
Proven track record in providing a high level of service to internal and external customers.
Flexibility to juggle competing priorities and shift focuses as determined by changing needs of the business.
Fluent in Japanese.
